STJ SHAHDEEN |
( Om El Shahmaan x EC Nadine)
Being beautiful & Athletic is no accident.... It is by design!
Shahdeen is the beautiful copper chestnut son of the legendary Om El Shahmaan.
( Pictured to the Left, photo by April Visel ) Shahdeen is heir to an exciting legacy of one of the greatest Arabian horses in the modern history of Arabians! He captures the quality and essence of his exciting heritage while offering incredible attributes himself.
Shahdeen's impressive sire, Om El Shahmaan, a US National Champion stallion is the leading sire at the world famous Om El Arab International, a breeding program that has captured success producing some of the most beautiful and sought after Arabian horses the world over.
Om El Arab was founded upon one of the most beautiful Arabian mares in history, the spanish beauty *Estopa, who has been named to be among the top 5 most influential Arabian mares in history. *Estopa is perhaps best noted as being the dam of the famous stallion *El Shaklan, who started the "Golden Cross" trend in Arabian breeding, that of crossing Egyptian and Spanish lines. For more in depth information about *Estopa, click here.
The results of the Golden Cross were far greater than anyone could have ever imagined! Om El Shahmaan is the heir apparent to the *El Shaklan legacy and the *Estopa Legacy as well, being not only a great grandson via his sire, *Sanadik El Shaklan, but also a grandson, as his dam, Om El Shaina is a daughter of *Estopa out of the esteemed World Champion stallion *Carmargue.
*Sanadik El Shaklan was perhaps the most successful son of *El Shaklan, having sired Champions all over the world. Sanadik daughters are in the finest breeding programs all over the world and are seldom offered for sale, as they are incredible producing mares. While *Sanadik El Shaklan lived, he was arguably the world's leading sire of national, international & world champions, a legacy that *Sanadik earned one incredible foal at a time. For a more in depth look at *Sanadik El Shaklan, please visit OmElArab.com
Om El Shahmaan is quickly following in his sire's big footprints siring foals of intense quality.
Stj Shahdeen's dam, EC Nadine, a straight spanish mare, was bred by the very well known farm, El Camino Ranch. El Camino Ranch was best known for their gorgeous tall, athletic son of Jaguay, *Numaa++. *Numaa was a multi champion stallion, garnering many wins in halter, country pleasure and informal combination.
EC Nadine is out of *Kadina SSB, who is a paternal half sister to *Estopa, being also a daughter of the immortal Tabal. While the mares share a different dam, the quality and resemblance is uncanny. Shahdeen is a maternal half brother to DM Xandru ( by First Cyte+ ), who has has 2 National titles in Sport Horse halter, making Shahdeen's dam, EC Nadine a dam of Regional and National quality horses. Shahdeen himself was Region III Champion Sport Horse Stallion as a 2 Year old as well as garnering other wins at Halter.
Shahdeen encompasses the best traits of his pedigree, as he resembles *Numaa very much with his white socks & blaze, he also shows the exotic type of his sire with huge eyes & sculpted profile. There are times that photographs capture his *Numaa influence so much so that he could almost be a direct son; and others that clearly show he is a son of Om El Shahmaan. It is plain to see that he wears his Spanish breeding boldly and thus we believe he will be an excellent choice for heavily Egyptian bred mares.
Shahdeen suffered an injury in 2012 that left his right hind leg with an ugly scar, while he is sound and able bodied, it has left his leg larger than the other. Being that this is a superficial injury, this in no way affects his ability to sire or to perform. Shahdeen has restarted his show career, earning a First place in Western please and an english class. Great way to kick off his show career again! He is schooling in reining and will make his debut this summer of 2015.
Shahdeen is the ultimate sport and working horse candidate being an honest 15 hands, with a sound body, sound mind and beauty to spare with his bright chestnut coloring, flaxen mane and beautiful blazed face. He has a wonderful work ethic and enjoys any challenge put before him.
Shahdeen offers the chance to gain access to some of the greatest Arabian bloodlines in the history for a very reasonable stud fee of $1200.00
